At Playgro, social responsibility isn’t just a catchphrase or a feel-good initiative. We take our responsibility to the community seriously, whether it is our local community in Australia, or the communities in which workers from our suppliers’ factories live. Playgro are proud to support the following organisation:
|
|

Murdoch Childrens Research Institute is Australia’s largest child health research institute, discovering ways to help children live happier, healthier lives. Its team of 1,000 researchers is committed to research to keep children alive, as well as research to ensure a better quality of life as they grow up. Current research priorities include allergies, obesity, diabetes, cancer, premature birth, depression and genetic conditions. Our Code of Vendor Conduct
Playgro operates with a strict Code of Vendor Conduct, to which every supplier and factory that we use has agreed. Playgro’s Code of Vendor Conduct requires, among other things, ensuring that they respect workers’ rights and provide acceptable working conditions

Our Supplier Audit Program
Playgro™ is aligned and adheres to the principles in philosophy and auditing process of the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI).

International Council of Toy Industries
The ICTI acts as a center of discussion and information exchange on trends and issues important to the toy industry, to promote safety standards, to reduce or eliminate barriers to trade, and to advance social responsibility in the industry with programs to address environmental concerns, fair and lawful employment practices and workplace safety. For more information about ICTI, visit www.toy-icti.org
